Welcome to our Cob Adventure...

We are so excited about our new adventure of building a cob home. Creating a cob home is not only having a beautiful, natural, inexpensive place to live, a cob home is a journey toward a new life and lifestyle. It is a new mindset for our children and us. We read a great quote from another cob home website, it said: “…what we are really looking for is to build a home, not a big expensive storage unit for all of our stuff.”

We are trying to show our children (and ourselves) that a big house filled with “things” does not make a home. It is our desire that we will all realize the beauty of a simpler life where our Peace comes from within rather than from without. We fully admit that we have been sucked into the consumerism lifestyle, and our kids right along with us. But we also have been realizing a thought change in our lives, and perhaps our greatest desire is to show our children and the world that it is possible to break free of this cycle that has controlled our lives.

It is our "hope" that there is a better way. It is our desire to find it by going “back to the basics” by freeing ourselves and our minds so that we can "remember" the Peace that we all have located within.
